Invoice Templates – FreeDAM Help

This holds true for an ‘Invoice’ or ‘Estimate’ and these terms in the text are interchangeable .

FreeDAM allows you have invoice templates.

These templates can be set up to have your professional service fees, additional fees, casket and all other fees already set.

The text on the template can use codewords so that when the template is applied to an invoice the invoice wording uses the relevant data from the case.

Setting up Invoice templates

At the moment this has to be done via the installed version of FreeDAM but the templates can be applied to invoices in FreeDAM online.

Invoice templates can be marked for ‘Cremation’ Burial’ ‘Repatriation’ or all of these options. This means that if you are working with a burial case then you do not have the cremation and repatriation templates available to chose from.

Applying a Template to an Invoice

This is super simple.
On the summary section of the invoice – if you have templates available to select from, you will have a drop down list of templates to apply.

Choose the template to apply and confirm the selection in the popup box.

Note: Applying a template to an invoice will clear all previously entered values and replace them with data from the template.
