The Name of the Deceased
This is a highlighted area that contains the name of the deceased.
A first name and a surname of the deceased is required before the portal is created so there will always be a name here.
However – it may be that we do not yet know the middle name/s of the deceased.
In the section for the Name, Address and Occupation there is an opportunity for the family to enter this/these names. In this case the name in the title will update live.
If the arrangement day and time have been entered in FreeDAM
This Name of Deceased box will have the arrangement day and time added to it if this data has been entered into FreeDAM
Remember – The family may quite possibly be visiting the portal before the arrangement.
Once the day and time of the arrangement has passed then this field just displays the deceased’s name.
